Kim Hee-sun, Kim Ha-neul and Bae Doona, Actresses in their 40s

Creditable actresses in their 40s are coming back with dramas. If Kim You-jung (21), Seo Yea-ji (30) and Moon Chae-won (34) made rapid progress this summer, coming this spring are Kim Hee-sun (43), Kim Ha-neul (42) and Bae Doona (41).

Bae Doona returned on the 15th of August with the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama "Secret Forest 2". It's been a year and 9 months since the KBS 2TV drama "Matrimonial Chaos" in November of 2018.

Bae Doona takes on the role of policewoman Han Yeo-jin just like she was in the season 1 which aired in from June to July in 2017. Han Yeo-jin, who was promoted as a police inspector from the police, left site and underwent a change in her dispatch from the main office to the administrative police. With Hwang Si-mok (Cho Seung-woo) who she was in a cooperative relationship with, stood at the opposite point of the prosecution and police's right to coordinate investigations, raising expectations for an exciting development.

Kim Hee-sun is coming back with the new SBS drama "Alice" this 28th. "Alice" is a human SF drama about a magical time travel of a woman who resembles her dead mother and a man who lost his emotions.

Kim Hee-sun attempts at two roles once again as Yoon Tae-i, genius freak physicist and Park Seong-yeong who looks a lot like Yoon Tae-i.

Kim Hee-sun is expected to depict a university student in her 20s as well as a mother in her 40s. Kim Hee-sun increased anticipation for the drama by saying, "Finding out the difference between the two is something to keep an eye out for in the drama".

Kim Ha-neul is coming back with the new JTBC drama "18 Again". "18 Again" is about a husband who goes back to his golden days right before his divorce, based on the film "17 Again". It is director Ha Byeong-hoon's first drama since he moved to JTBC.

Kim Ha-neul takes on the role of a mother of twins and a late announcer to-be Jeong Da-jeong. She is expected to draw sympathy from women as a mother of two, challenging herself to become an announcer. She co-stars with Yoon Sang-hyun and Lee Do-hyun who play one character (37 year-old Hong Dae-young and (18 year-old Hong Dae-young).
