Actor and director Kim Hee-won will be the director of the drama version of the Naver webtoon "A Man's Man".

"A Man's Man" is a story about the process of Han Yoo-hyun, an ordinary office worker, to become CEO of a company. He loses everything he loves while pursuing his desires. After that, he goes back to his youth and tries his life again.
Kim Hee-won directed the film. He made his directorial debut with the Disney Plus series "Light Shop". He was recognized for his directing ability by being nominated for the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards.
A source said, "Kim Hee-won recreates "A Man's Man" with a warm gaze on daily life. Following "Light Shop" a work is expected to attract viewers' sympathy".
The original webtoon is a web novel of the same name by Kim Tae-gung. It was produced as a webtoon in 2020 and has exceeded 470 million cumulative global views. It was also popular overseas, including Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia.
