Kim Hye-yoon who was proposed the role of Kim Jo-yi, is a waking new woman in the 17th century Confucian holy land of Joseon, and a realist who doesn't think getting divorced is a big deal.
"Secret Royal Inspector Joy" is an investigative drama about an active investigator who investigates corrupt officials who are lazy and tired of their career, a nosy lady who is full of desire and passion as well as nameless women who investigate corrupt officials. It is directed by Yoo Jong-seon and written by Lee Jae-yoon-IV. Cho Byeong-kyu was initially brought up for the role of Ryan but fell through and the role was given to Ok Taecyeon.
Meanwhile, Kim Hye-yoon became reputable through the JTBC drama "SKY Castle" and became acknowledged for her talent in the MBC drama "Extraordinary You".
