Kim Hyun-joong's ex-girlfriend will stand trial for fraud on the 30th. The appeal against the 1600 million won claim in damages she asked for is finally going on trial.
The ex filed a 1,600 won suit against Kim Hyun-joong for the charges of pregnancy, abuse, manipulation of abortion and birth. Kim Hyun-joong claimed she lied about the abortion and asked for money.
At first the court found her not guilty but Kim Hyun-joong appealed and the ex was indicted.
Not only that, the ex was found with lack of evidence and Kim Hyun-joong countersued her for defamation through media and interviews.
The ex appealed and she has been deferred until the trial is over.
