Kim Hyun-joong's ex-girlfriend, "Assault led to miscarriage" VS Kim Hyun-joong, "Agreement is over"

Actor Kim Hyun-joong's attorneys released a statement regarding his ex-girlfriend A's claim about miscarriage and assault.

Kim Hyun-joong's legal attorneys claimed, "This case was dealt with last year after he gave her a settlement. He was afraid she was going to make him a criminal who assaulted her during pregnancy and forced an miscarriage like she said he would, but he didn't even check the facts and ended up settling with her".

"What's left of her 'miscarriage' is the text message between the two. We have asked for proof of pregnancy and miscarriage but she hasn't been able to come up with them and she's received 600 million in settlement but didn't keep her promise to maintain things on the down low".

"If she is lying she's committing blackmail and even if she isn't she can be charged for defamation because she disclosed something that has already been mutually agreed upon".

KBS 2TV "Morning News" reported that 'A' got pregnant with Kim Hyun-joong's child last year and that the child was lost due to his violence. Proof of the case was the text message between them in May and June last year. 'A' said, "What do I do about the pregnancy?" and Kim Hyun-joong said, "I guess we have to go to the hospital. When will you go? What will you do?" In another text, 'A' says, "I think the child is gone".

Kim Hyun-joong was charged with assault on 'A' in August last year. His action was recognized as assault and was summarily indicted 5 million in fines. Later, they reunited and he got her pregnant.

However, news spread that 'A' was preparing for a billion won trial against Kim Hyun-joong. The reason was the mental offense she'd been through by being pregnant with his child. She also sued several online critics.

Kim Hyun-joong is enlisting in National Service this 12th. His attorneys claim the case can go on with a substitute in his place while he's absent.
