On the 2nd, Plum A&C said, "Kim Hyun-sook has confirmed her appearance in the new drama "Second Shot at Love" and she will play the role of Ki-beom's mother in the drama and work with actor Lee Joong-ok as a couple".

"Second Shot at Love" is a romance drama about a woman who praises herself as a very common-sense drinker who tries to stop drinking when she reunites with her first love who hates alcohol, and Choi Soo-young, Gong Myung, Kim Sung-ryung, Kim Sang-ho, and Jo Yoon-hee have confirmed their appearances.

In this work, Kim Hyun-sook will play the role of Ki-beom's mother who runs a charcoal-grilled ribs restaurant, and serve as a representative source spreading all kinds of rumors in the village of Bocheon. She is also expected to revitalize the play by showing fierce chemistry with the mother and daughter Geum-joo (Choi Soo-young) and Gwang-ok (Kim Sung-ryung), and her husband (Lee Joong-ok).
