It is story about marriage being just a 'maintenance' after the love runs out and about finding the meaning of life as a husband and wife in Korean society. Through the appalling realization that they have lived with the most dangerous enemy in the family that they thought was the safest, and at the same time, they boldly dig into what victory and failure mean in marriage.

The cast for "My Dangerous Wife" is complete. Kim Jung-eun who makes a return to drama for the first time in 3 years, plays Shim Jae-kyeong, a perfect woman with beauty, wealth and good personality. Shim Jae-kyeong is shocked to be embroiled in a mysterious kidnapping while dreaming of ordinary happiness in which she promised to love her husband forever until death does them apart.

Choi Won-young takes on the role of Kim Yoon-cheol, a good looking and friendly star chef. He meets a beautiful and skilled wife and has been married for 6 years when he realizes his wife is the most dangerous being in his life and feels ennui, which leaves him locked on his work for a way out of his misery.

Choi Yu-hwa plays Jin Seon-mi, an employee at Kim Yoon-cheol's restaurant with a special relationship. Jin Seon-mi, who has suffered from extreme poverty, is a bold character who jumps into whatever she wants to get what she wants.

"My Dangerous Wife" is the first collaboration between director Lee Hyeong-min and writer Hwang Da-eun.
