MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Kokdu: Season of Deity" (written by Kang Yi-hun, Heo Joon-woo-I/director Baek Soo-chan, Kim Ji-hoon-XIV), which will premiere on January 27th, unveiled a sub-poster of a romantic comedy version on the 4th.
"Kokdu: Season of Deity" is a romance drama that takes place every 99 years when a god called Kokdu, who comes down to the earth to punish, meets Han Gye-jeol, a doctor with mysterious abilities. Actors Kim Jung-hyun (Kokdu, Do Jin-woo) and Im Soo-hyang (Han Gye-jeol) have come together for this.
The poster released shows Kokdu and Gye-jeol standing like a couple. A lovely smile flows from the face of Han Gye-jeol, who gently leans on the shoulder of Kokdu, and the expression of the god of the underworld is slightly frowned, but he too, feels comfortable.
If the poster released earlier brings about curiosity about the two's affectionate and sentimental narrative, the sub-poster makes one guess the relationship between the lively god of the underworld's top and the human limit clause. The first episode airs at 9:50 PM on the 27th.
