KBS' new weekend drama "Iron Family" announced on the 16th that Kim Jung-hyun will appear.
"Iron Family" is a drama that tells the story of Da-rim's family ironing money instead of clothes. Director Seong Joon-hae, who directed "Bravo, My Life", "No Matter What" and "Home for Summer" and writer Seo Sook-hyang, who wrote "Wok of Love", "Don't Dare to Dream", and "Pasta", are united.
According to "Iron Family", Kim Jung-hyun plays the role of Seo Kang-joo, the son of the richest family in the drama and managing director of Jiseung Group. One day before joining the military in the past, he had an unforgettable experience with Lee Da-rim, who was attending the same university as he was. Kang-joo, who reunites with Da-rim after eight years, will continue his relationship with her with the worst mistake he made without filter after showing off.
"Kim Jung-hyun is an actor with strong acting skills, and he is perfect for the character of Seo Kang-joo who is flimsy but also requires comicality in this drama", the production team of "Iron Family" said. "The drama will be enriched thanks to Kim Jung-hyun, who does not hesitate to show off the character's charm, which is difficult to express, to the maximum".
"Iron Family" is the follow-up to "Beauty and Mr. Romantic" and is set to premiere in September.
