Kim Ki-bang has been cast for the movie "Bright Night" which is about the mass massacre that happened in the 1951 Korean War.

Kim Ki-bang stars as a producer who has been sent to the field to broadcast the happening. This time his character is more sincere and toned down than his usual cheerful characters.

Kim Jae-soo, the director of this movie says, "We are going to discover a whole new lot of Kim Ki-bang in this movie".

Kim Ki-bang says, "I am nervous because it's my first main role. I learnt a lot about the massacre after reading the script. I will work hard and make it work".
