On the tvN show "List of Names 2017", Kim Min-seok came in 9th on the list of celebrities who quit their jobs to join showbiz.

Kim Min-seok had done many jobs in the past to make a living and he is a certified Korea, Japanese and Western cook. After making his debut, he even showed off preparing sashimi like a pro.

Kim Min-seok came up to Seoul from Busan to become a singer but changed his mind to be an actor later on. He also showed off his cooking skills on TV.
