Pia Company, the organizer of the event issued an apology in Kim Myung Min's official Japanese website citing the growing tension in the Korean peninsula as one of the probable reasons for the cancellation..
"I think it is more likely that Kim Myung-min hesitated to do his show on Christmas day in such situation. That's our guy. Kim Myung-min is a thoughtful and sincere man. I love him", said Soon, a Japanese fan.
Countless of Japanese fans who were looking forward to spending Christmas Day with the actor were disheartened by the news, but they fully understood the gravity of the situation.
