Kim Myung-soo to Star in Youth Melodrama, "Joint Guarantee Romance"

Actor Kim Myung-soo is set to return as the lead in a youth romance drama.

Kim Myung-soo has confirmed "Joint Guarantee Romance" as his next project. Actress Pyo Ye-jin, who appeared in "Taxi Driver 3", is reportedly set to star as the female lead.

"Joint Guarantee Romance" is a romance drama that tells the story of young men and women carrying different burdens in life who become unexpectedly intertwined by fate, fall in love, and grow together.

The series is a global project backed by overseas investment. As such, it aims to offer viewers a fresh visual experience. With Singapore serving as the drama's main setting, a significant portion of the series is expected to be filmed on location there.

A drama industry source said, "Kim Myung-soo is an actor known for his solid acting skills and delicate emotional expression. We expect him to create great synergy with Pyo Ye-jin, whose bright and lovable charm will complement his performance".

"Joint Guarantee Romance" will consist of 12 episodes and is currently in pre-production. Filming is scheduled to begin this summer after the main cast lineup is finalized.

Meanwhile, Kim Myung-soo will make his small-screen comeback next month with the new weekend drama Empathy Cell (working title), which premieres on July 4. He is also currently holding his 2026 Kim Myung-soo Fan-Con Asia Tour "UNCHANGED".
