Kim Sae-ron is starring in the movie "The Villagers".

"The Villagers" is about a physical education teacher named Gi-cheol (Ma Dong-seok) who is assigned to a countryside high school due to an unfortunate incident. Then a student named Yoo-jin (Kim Sae-ron) asks questions about the disappearance of her friend.
Kim Sae-ron is working with Ma Dong-seok for the first time in 5 years. She takes on the role of Yoo-jin who takes on the lead in finding out what happened to her friend.
Kim Sae-ron said, "Yoo-jin says anything on her mind so I'm working on looking bold. Every line she says has a meaning and so does everything she does".
"The Villagers" director Lim Jin-soon says, "Kim Sae-ron has always been dark characters in the past. However I think there is a brighter side of her and I want to show the public that she can be bright".
Kim Sae-ron won several awards with the movie "The Man From Nowhere" in 2010 and continued to star in movies "Neighbors", "Barbie", "A Girl at My Door" and "Snowy Road".
