MBC off air drama "My Lovely Sam Soon" (aka Kim Sam-soon) and SBS weekend drama "Secret Garden" both have Hyun Bin in the lead role and have risen to be a national drama with hot popularity.

The "Kim Sam-soon and Secret parallel theory" refers to the fact that actor Kim Sung-kyum acts as Hyun Bin's grandfather and uncle in both dramas.

In "Kim Sam-soon" he was Hyun Bin's uncle on his mother's side and in "Secret Garden" he is the president "Moon Chang-soo of Roel Group and Joo-won (Hyun Bin) and Oska (Yoon Sang-hyun)'s grandfather.
