"The Tyrant" is a chase-action thriller about people who come together to occupy the last sample of the 'tyrant program' for different purposes chasing each other after it disappears in a delivery accident.

This is the first OTT series directed by Park Hoon-jung, who directed the films "The New World" (2013) and "The Witch : Part 1. The Subversion" (2013). "The Tyrant" is a spin-off work that belongs to "The Witch : Part 1. The Subversion" world view, boasting strong acting and solid narratives by actors.

Kim Seon-ho played the role of an elite NIS agent and director Choi who protects the 'tyrant project'. He has a cool-headed expression without laughter.

Kim Seon-ho said about his role, "It wasn't as easy as I thought to play such a silent and heavy character. Director Choi is not a quiet person at all, but a person who says what each situation has to say. The biggest homework for me was to make the viewer think, "Why is this scene so boring and loose because of him? Why does that person look aimless?"

He also said, "The characters I've done so far are externally expressed, so I wanted various methods to be spread out like textbooks to me", saying he referred to the acting of characters in the movie "Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy" (2012) and the British drama "Peaky Blinders" (2022).
