Kim Seul-gi, "I paid through school thanks to Jang Jin"

Actress Kim Seul-gi's eyes got watery as she spoke about the director Jang Jin.

She appeared on the MBC TV show "Radio Star" with Jang Jin, Park Gun-hyung and singer Kim Yeon-woo.

She said, "Jang Jin was in my school group where I was active in. I didn't think I would meet him personally".

Jang Jin said, "I met Kim Seul-gi for the first time while preparing the school's 30th anniversary. Her voice alone was loud and thought she had a good base".

Kim Seul-gi said, "I told him that I took time off school and he said he'll let me earn my way through school so to work with him. I called my mom and cried about it".

Meanwhile, Kim Seul-gi debuted through the tvN show "SNL Korea" and rose to stardom with the 'dirty mouth' character. She is now a part of the movie production company where Jang Jin is the head of.
