MBC's upcoming drama "Fifties Professionals" tells the story of three men who may seem ordinary but once had real clout, now set back in motion by fate. Though battered by life and worn down by time, they remain true professionals at heart, men who have already run 50% of their lives. The series is a salty, hard-boiled action comedy fueled by loyalty and instinct.

In the drama, Kim Shin-rok plays Kang Yeong-ae, a prosecutor brimming with righteousness. Determined to personally put criminals behind bars, she graduated from the police academy and rose to become the head of a violent crimes unit in her twenties, proving herself as an elite investigator. Disillusioned by the cartel-like corruption within law enforcement, she entered law school to directly request warrants and ultimately became a prosecutor, an unusual career path. Known for indicting suspects without regard for others' opinions, she earns the nickname 'Kang Non-gae' after relentlessly pursuing a sexual harassment case involving senior officials, which leads to her demotion and reassignment to Imcheon City.
