Actor Kim Soo-hyun has pledged W300 million to the high school in Ansan that most of the victims in last week's ferry disaster came from (US$1=W1,040).

Kim "thought about how to express his condolences to the students of Danwon High School. He decided to donate to help the remaining students pull through as they are also suffering from the tragic accident", Kim's agency KeyEast said on Thursday.
