Kim Soo-hyun's father Kim Choong-hoon showed his affection for his son.

Kim Choong-hoon recently had a interview with K Star and said, "My son Kim Soo-hyun grew up to be an excellent young man and I wonder what other miracle I could ask for. There's nothing more I would want than for him to become a true actor".

He said, "Sometimes my son calls me and tells me not to worry about him and that he's fine. I am happy just by hearing his voice".

Kim Choong-hoon is from the 80s group sound Seven Dolphins. His hit songs are "How Did You Come Love", "Night Port" and "How Should I Start".

He released his solo album, "I'm Here" in 2009 but wasn't able to make a big hit. "Kim Soo-hyun started becoming famous when I released my album out. I stopped doing anything more in hopes that my son succeeds".

"Someday I am going to sing with my son. If I am able to duet with him, I want to sing songs that will influence fathers and mothers. I want to sing until the day I die".
