Kim Sun-a's eyes are shining while maintaining a poker face in the released character poster. Han Hye-ryul, the head of the Central District Prosecutors' Office's special department and the No. 1 successor to the top 1% legal uniform family, is a person full of ambition to realize her own desire, not her family's choice. From her aggressive and sharp words, "Whatever I do, I'm a woman who relies on her family, right?" portrays how she practices making her desires come true.

Ahn Jae-wook, who plays Na Geun-woo, Han Hye-ryul's husband, is also staring at the camera with a complex expression and eyes. Na Geun-woo walks on a milky road as a law school professor, but in reality, he is only a pawn on the chessboard, so the strong words, "I can't be perfect all the time" shows how sick he is of his current status.

On top of that, Ham Kwang-jeon (Lee Mi-sook), the mother of Han Hye-ryul and the head of the law school, does not care about the means to protect her empire.

On the other hand, Han Hye-ryul's father, Han Geon-do (Song Young-chang), unlike his wife, is a lawyer, but his business mind is more advanced.

In addition, Ham Min-heon (Shin Goo) is cold toward those who touch the family he has made the nation's top legal family.

Lee Ae-heon (Oh Hyun-kyung), who captivates Ham Min-heon, is showing his challenging intention to act up like a significant figure.

"The Empire" is a drama about the life of desire and hypocrisy kept in the iron fortress built by law, the revelation of their secrets, and the fall scandal of the haves. The first episode will air at 10:30 PM on the 24th.
