The SBS TV drama "The Demon" is a story about a different world with demons when you open the door, a woman who is possessed by demons and a man who can see them, digging into the mysterious death surrounding five bodies. Writer Kim Eun-hee-I of "Jirisan" (2021) and director Lee Jung-rim of "VIP" (2019) will make it.
Kim Tae-ri will play Goo San-yeong, a student at the public examination. She works part-time during the day, studyies at night, and prepares for the 9th grade civil service exam for several years. She finds himself getting caught up in mysterious deaths that keep happening around him after receiving her father's belongings, and gradually changes to a different appearance.
Oh Jung-se plays Yeom Hae-sang, a professor of folklore from a wealthy family. He is a person with eyes that can see things others can't. Through an unexpected opportunity, he gets to know San-yeong and encounters the evil spirit who killed his mother in front of his eyes when he was young. Hong Kyung plays Lee Hong-sae, a police officer of the homicide unit. He is a senior member of the police force. He lives in a superior taste and aims only for special promotion, but gets caught up in an incident that he can't believe even when he sees it while being involved with Hae-sang.
