The agency Wells Entertainment said on the 11th, "Kim Yoon-woo will confirm his appearance in MBC's new drama "My Dearest" and challenge his first historical drama acting".

The drama "My Dearest", starring Kim Yoon-woo, is a human history melodrama that deals with the love of lovers and the vitality of the people through the Manchurian War.

In the drama, Kim Yoon-woo plays the best singer of Joseon, Liang Eum. He is a close friend of Jang-hyeon (Namkoong Min), a noble man who is good at strumming the Geomungo with his long and slender fingers and is good at handling the bow and arrow and a gun as well. However, he is a mysterious person who raises questions because not only his origin but also his exact age is not revealed.

Kim Yoon-woo, who is challenging his first historical drama acting through "My Dearest", debuted with the movie "Sweet and Sour" and was cast as the main character in the drama "BEGINS ≠ YOUTH", drawing attention from the industry. In the web drama "Mimicus", which aired last year, he played the role of Ji Soo-bin, a trainee at a large agency, and showed a three-dimensional character full of inner wounds with stable acting skills, unlike his colorful appearance.

Recently, he appeared in tvN's "Delightfully Deceitful" as Han Moo-yeong (Kim Dong-wook)'s childhood role. He made a strong impression on viewers by persuasively portraying Moo-yeong's past narrative with delicate emotional acting.

Meanwhile, "My Dearest" will air from 9:50 PM on August 4th.
