Kim Yu-mi Misses Out in Miss Universe Final

Miss Korea Kim Yu-mi failed to make it into the final round of the Miss Universe competition in Moscow on Saturday. Launched in 1952, the annual beauty contest is organized by American business magnate Donald Trump and NBC.

Earlier, expectations ran high that Kim would advance to the final as she was named the most popular contestant in an unofficial online vote by a Spanish daily on Tuesday.
Venezuela's Gabriela Isler took the Miss Universe title. Second place went to Patricia Rodrigues of Spain, while Ecuador's Constanza Baez was third.
