Koo Hye-sun Forced to Quit Drama Due to Illness

Actress Koo Hye-sun abruptly quit her latest TV series, "You're Too Much", which started airing early this month.

With just a few episodes having been broadcast, Koo Hye-sun has been forced to drop out due to ill health.

"Koo Hye-sun is currently hospitalized after developing a severe allergic reaction. She is in need of total rest and long-term care", Koo Hye-sun's agency YG Entertainment said Friday.

Koo Hye-sun was diagnosed with anaphylaxis, a potentially life-threatening condition often triggered by allergens. Its symptoms include difficulty breathing, dizziness, nausea, and collapse.

She will be replaced in her role by actress Jang Hee-jin.
