Actress Koo Hye-sun has been cast as the female lead in an upcoming Chinese drama.

"The Legendary Tycoon" follows the life of a Chinese film industry tycoon, and Koo plays his wife.
The big-budget drama cast top actors from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan as well as Korea.
Koo left for Hengdian, China last Friday and will film there for three months. She will return to Korea briefly for her concert on Nov. 21 where she will perform songs from her new-age album.
