As the 4th Teheran International Animation Film Festival opened on Mar. 6 invites a total of 21 Korean animations, Korean animation's reputation is being enhanced in the Middle East.
Plus 'Birthday Boy', a total of 18 Korean animations including 'I love picnic', and 'In the forest' were invited to the international competiton.
'Empress Chung' as well as 'Ice cream' and 'What a Smart Cat' were submitted to the feature-length and TV animation competiton respectively.
Among short competition animations, 'Birthday Boy' etc. is introduced as a special screening form also in the 'Festival of Festivals' section.
