The film was originally scheduled to hit local theaters in late February but the release was delayed due to the coronavirus epidemic.
There were some legal battles over the release on Netflix between two companies involved in the film's distribution, but their disputes were finally settled on Monday, making it the first film on the U.S. video-streaming giant without a theatrical release as the virus creates an unprecedented situation for the movie industry.
The film, which premiered at the annual Berlin International Film Festival in February, is set to be available for streaming on Netflix this Thursday and will be offered in some 190 countries.
The film revolves around four friends who come up with a criminal plan to turn their lives around, and a mysterious man who chases them.
