Korean Director Wins Best Director Award at Shanghai Film Festival

Lee Jae-yong, the director of the film "Untold Scandal", won the award for best director at the Shanghai International Film Festival, which ended Sunday. He is the second Korean director who has been awarded at the festival. Im Kwon-taek received the best director award in 1993 for the movie "Seopyeonje".
"Untold Scandal" also won awards for visual & sound effects and music (directed by Lee Byung-woo).
The best picture award went to the Iranian film "Tradition of Lover Killing".
