Synopsis
"Dear X" tells the story of Baek Ah-jin (Kim You-jung), a woman who wears a mask to escape from hell and climb to the very top-and of the many "X"s who are ruthlessly crushed beneath her rise. Behind her flawless beauty lies a cruel truth: the downfall of a top star who hides her vicious nature, and the tragic love of Yoon Joon-seo (Kim Young-dae), a man who chooses to walk through hell to protect her.
 
Baek Ah-jin is a woman who has endured hellish days entirely on her own. When fate finally offers her a chance, she seizes it-rising above misfortune and scars to reach the pinnacle of fame. She specializes in penetrating and manipulating the hearts of others, erasing her dark, secret-filled past to succeed as a top star in the spotlight. Yoon Joon-seo, meanwhile, is a man who believes love itself is salvation. With unwavering faith, he stands by Ah-jin's side and supports her completely.
