On the 24th, magazine Esquire released Kwak Dong-yeon's pictorial in the June issue. He pulled off a variety of costumes and showed off a different charm that he had never shown before.
In an interview that followed after filming, Kwak Dong-yeon mentioned Instagram's "Ask Anything" which recently became a hot topic. He drew attention by leaving his own handwritten answers to fans' questions.
Kwak Dong-yeon said, "I'm not up to date with the latest slangs and phrases", and laughed, "I started answering in my own handwriting because I didn't know how to use the text entry function at first". At the same time, he added, "It looks more sincere than text input, and I will continue to do so because fans like it".
Kwak Dong-yeon, who lived alone from a young age, also joked that humor was his 'key to survival. "The source of puns is social life that began at an early age", he said.
"I've always wanted everyone I work with to smile and work happily", he said. "As I grew up, I wanted not only my acquaintances but also my fans to have fun, so I've mastered a sense of humor".
