Kwon Sang-woo to Join "Study Group - Season 2"

Actor Kwon Sang-woo is joining the TVING original drama "Study Group - Season 2".

According to TVING on the 23rd, Kwon Sang-woo will appear in "Study Group - Season 2" as Jeon Yeong-ha, the uncle of the main character Yoon Ga-min, and will act alongside Hwang Minhyun.

"Study Group" is a comic action drama based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of Yoon Ga-min, a student who is more talented at fighting than studying, as he forms a study group while striving for college entrance exams at one of the worst schools.

Season 1, released last year, gained strong word-of-mouth for its refreshing storyline and dynamic action, ranking highly on OTT charts both domestically and internationally.

Kwon Sang-woo's character, Jeon Yeong-ha, was previously introduced in Season 1 as a mysterious, unseen figure who teaches fighting skills to Yoon Ga-min. Anticipation is growing over how the character will finally be revealed in the new season.
