Late Actor Lee Yong-joo's Family Struggling to Cope with the Sudden Loss

The funeral hall of actor Lee Yong-joo, who passed away suddenly, has been revealed by one of his close friends.

On the 29th, A, a friend of the late actor, shared photos of the funeral hall on social media, saying, "Even at this very moment as I share this news, I still can't believe it".

A explained, "Because this happened so suddenly, the news of his passing has not yet reached everyone outside of his family and close friends. His phone is also password-protected, and since it is the weekend, his family is facing many difficulties in dealing with this unexpected situation".

The friend continued, "If anyone who sees this post has a connection with Yong-joo, please share this news widely so that it can reach them".

Meanwhile, Lee Yong-joo, who was born in 1982, passed away suddenly from a heart attack earlier that day. He was 44 years old.

He made his entertainment debut in the 2004 film "Sword in the Moon" and gained recognition for his role as a recruit in the tvN series "Blue Tower". He went on to appear in a number of productions, including "Hello, Franceska", up to "Rude Miss Young-ae Season 15", "Let's Eat", and "Golden Tower".

Lee Yong-joo's final acting credit was his appearance in ENA's "New Recruit" in 2022.

His funeral is being held in Room 5 of the funeral hall at Bundang Jesaeng Hospital. His body was placed in the coffin at 1 PM on the 30th, and the funeral procession took place at 6:30 AM on the 31st. He will be laid to rest at the Seongnam Municipal Funeral Culture Center.
