Jo Seong-woo is a leading film music composer in Korea and a selection of his work is released on CD under the title: Jo Seong-woo: Best of Cinema Music. The selected scores are from 23 films.
The composer is president of the company Music & Film Creation (M&F Creation) and specializes in composing film scores. He studied philosophy at the Yonsei university.
His friendship with director Hur Jin-ho ("Christmas in August", 1998) resulted in the collaboration on "One Fine Spring Day" (2001) and "April Snow" (2005). He also composed for films like: "Nowhere To Hide" (1999) by Lee Myung-se and "Take Care of My Cat" (2001) by Jeong Jae-eun.
