Lee Bo-young Returns to TV with New Crime Thriller

Actress Lee Bo-young returned to television with a new series after taking a break to have a child.

In the crime thriller "Whisper", Lee plays a police officer seeking revenge on a judge who convicted her father of murder.
Lee married actor Ji Sung in 2013 and had a child in 2015. Since then, she has focused on raising their daughter, limiting her TV appearances to a few advertisements.
"I don't much care about ratings. When it comes to selecting a role, I choose the ones that I think will be fun. Doing satisfying work is more important to me than chasing ratings. I want to present viewers with a well-made drama", Lee said during a press event last week ahead of Monday's airing of the first episode.
"My husband and I don't critique each other's acting. In fact we haven't had much time to talk lately, because our schedules keep us apart", Lee said.
