On July 13, Lee Bo-young's agency, J,WIDE-COMPANY, told Newsen, "Lee Bo-young is positively reviewing an offer to star in the new drama "Divorce Investigator Hong Mal-geum"".
"Divorce Investigator Hong Mal-geum" follows the life of its titular character, Hong Mal-geum, a court-appointed family investigator who handles divorce cases. The drama is scheduled to air on ENA.
If confirmed, the project will mark Lee's first television drama since the MBC Friday-Saturday series "Mary Kills People", which concluded in September last year. Before that, she reaffirmed her versatility through a string of notable performances in "MINE" (tvN), "Agency" (JTBC), "See You In My 19th Life" (tvN), and "Hide" (Coupang Play).
Meanwhile, Lee Bo-young's husband, actor Ji Sung, recently made his own return to television. He stars as the lead character Park Hae-kang in JTBC's weekend drama "The Apartment Job", which premiered on July 11th.
