On the 22nd, Lee Do-hyun's agency, YH Entertainment, told Sports Kyunghyang, "It is true that he has received an offer to appear in "Destruction Emperor"", while taking a cautious stance.
"Destruction Emperor" is a large-scale action drama that follows an ace killer who spent a decade in organized crime and is assigned to a police witness protection unit for undisclosed reasons. The series will be jointly produced by AStory and Shining Park.
Lee Do-hyun has reportedly been offered the role of the male lead, an ace killer who once operated in the underworld. The project is set to be directed by Sin Kyeong-soo, known for works such as the TV series "The First Responders", "Six Flying Dragons", and "The Nokdu Flower". If Lee Do-hyun joins the drama, it will mark his first collaboration with the director.
Since completing his military service in May last year, Lee Do-hyun has been actively expanding his post-discharge career. He recently wrapped filming for the Netflix series "Grand Galaxy Hotel" and was also announced as part of the cast for the Korean adaptation of the film "Viva La Vida".
