"Lee Dong-gun and Park Ha-sun have confirmed their appearance in the new short-form drama "Useless Love", the two agencies said on the 6th. "It will be released in January next year".

"Useless Love", is a romance comedy-drama about an old bachelor and bachelorette with an outdated notion that if a man and a woman sleep, they should get married and spend a night with each other, the opposite of their ideal types.

In this work, Lee Dong-gun plays the role of a literary critic and publishing editor-in-chief of a publishing company, Lee Moo-gae. Lee Moo-gae is an honor student, a good son who adores his sister and a man whose specialty is crushing because he is not good at confessing because of his timid personality.

In the drama, Park Ha-sun plays Do-hye, an unmarried woman in charge of design at a publishing company. Do-hye believes that she is the perfect pastor in face, body, and ability, but she has a strange ability to block a man who is approaching her.

"Useless Love" was directed by Lee Jung-seob, who created many hits including the dramas "Bread, Love and Dreams", "Healer", "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho", "Queen for 7 Days" and "Angel's Last Mission: Love". Fans are paying keen attention to what synergy Lee Jung-seob, Lee Dong-gun and Park Ha-sun will create when they meet.

Meanwhile, "Useless Love" will be released in January 2025 through the short-form streaming platform PulsePick, which is scheduled to launch in beta.
