Lee Dong-gun's first confession about Jiyeon

Actor Lee Dong-gun spoke out for the first time since his announcement with T-ara's Jiyeon.

He posted a letter on his fan café on the 7th from Shanghai and explained his relationship with Jiyeon.

He said, "We are getting to know each other. I don't doubt we are meant to be and we are serious".

Their relationship came out when they were spotted together through SNS. Lee Dong-gun said, "I lose to SNS. I'm sorry for letting you know about this through SNS".

"She's much younger than me, but I haven't felt the gap yet and I actually get to rely on her. I'm still immature too".

"There is going to be prejudice about us, but I won't be bothered by that. I am going to protect her".

"Please stand on my side, our side. There aren't many who support us. You have been with me until now without change so I hope you trust in me. I don't doubt that she's meant for me".

Meanwhile, Jiyeon and Lee Dong-gun have finished filming the Korean-Chinese movie "Reunion". They became close while talking about the movie and they are just getting to know each other.

Jiyeon also left a message on her fan café saying, "We are just starting so I hope you cheer for us".
