Actor Lee Dong-hwi transforms into a crazy dog detective.

MBC TV's "Chief Detective 1958" tells the story of Park Yeong-han (Lee Je-hoon) breaking up corruption power by joining three colleagues as a team. It is a prequel of the "Chief Detective" (1971-1984; 1985-1989), which has been broadcast for 18 years. Lee Je-hoon plays the youth of Park Yeong-han, who is played by Choi Bul-am.
Lee Dong-hwi is Kim Sang-soon, a detective at the Jongnam Police Station. Born into a poor family, all he has is grit and spite. He meets Yeong-han when he is tired of the reality stained with corruption.
Park Jae-beom-I, the writer of "Vincenzo" (2021), will be the creator. It is a work that has been worked on for two years with new artist Kim Young-sin. It is directed by Kim Seong-hoon-III of the movie "Rampant" (2018). It's scheduled to air next year.
