Lee Eon died in a motorcycle accident around 1:30 AM on August 21st, 2008. He was 27.
At that time, Lee Eon returned home after the end of KBS2's Monday-Tuesday drama "Mighty Chil-woo". He then went out again on his motorcycle and got in an accident that caused him to lose his balance and collide with a guardrail while trying to change lanes on an overpass in Hannam-dong, Seoul.
