Lee Jong-suk Stars in Kim Soo-jin-V's "Paradise - Drama"

Actor Lee Jong-suk has been confirmed as the lead of the drama "Paradise - Drama".

According to a report by MyDaily on the 13th, Lee Jong-suk will star as the main character in "Paradise - Drama", the new work by writer Kim Soo-jin-V.

"Paradise - Drama" is a long-awaited project that Kim Soo-jin-V developed over five years. The story follows journalist Kang Chi-yeong and police officer Cha Jeong-won as they become entangled in an unimaginable incident, uncovering hidden secrets and truths.

The writer previously showcased a masterclass in psychological thrillers with "Beyond Evil", which earned her the Best Screenplay award at the 2021 Baeksang Arts Awards. Her new project, "Paradise - Drama" is already sparking industry curiosity based on its title alone.

Direction will be handled by Oh Choong-hwan, known for visually striking and immersive works such as "Start Up", "Castaway Diva", and "Melo Movie". This marks the third collaboration between Lee Jong-suk and Oh Choong-hwan, following "While You Were Sleeping - 2017" and "Big Mouth". Their previous projects have consistently created strong synergy, raising anticipation among drama fans.

Even at the production stage, "Paradise - Drama" is being called a 'fully realized lineup' and is quickly emerging as one of the most anticipated dramas of 2027.
