According to his agency Blade Entertainment on the 5th, Lee Joo-won-I was cast in tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" (written by Kim Yeong-hyeon, Park Sang-yeon, and directed by Kim Kwang-sik-I), which is scheduled to premiere on the 9th.
"Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" is a follow-up to the drama "Arthdal Chronicles" which ended in 2019, and tells the fateful stories of Tagon (Jang Dong-gun), Eunseom (Lee Joon-gi), Tanya (Shin Se-kyung), and Taealha (Kim Ok-vin), who write different legends in the ancient land of Arth.
In the drama, Lee Joo-won-I plays the role of Yeon-bal, a military commander of Arthdal Jeongbul-gun, who has lived only with loyalty to Tagon and pride of being a military commander from Dae-kan. He is committed to Arthdal's safety and power, along with his deep trust in Tagon, and will show his loyalty and outstanding ability as a military commander.
"Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" will premiere at 9:20 PM on the 9th.
