"Hope" is about the hate and anger of So-won, a hurtful girl, who finds hope at the end of despair. Actor Sul Kyung-gu and actress Uhm Ji-won take on the role of Dong-hoon and Mi-hee, the parents. Kim Hae-sook is a physiatrist and Kim Sang-ho is Dong-hoon's best friend Gwang-sik.
Lee Joon-ik announced retirement in 2010, after "Battlefield Heroes" failed badly. He gathered the courage to come back with a movie and he claims that he feels better now that it's over.
This movie will be released this fall.
