In a recent interview with TV Report, Lee said, "Kim Jong-kook has been a lot of help for me to come this far".

Lee is the character of a giraffe and Kim Jong-kook is a tiger in the SBS TV program "Running Man".

Lee said, "Before I had a character, there were many people who looked at us with frowns. We both knew that but he kept on bullying me"..

"I knew why he was doing that. He wanted to make me a character. He knew it was going to look bad on him but he did it so that I will stand out. Thanks to him, I am the giraffe I am today".

He ended with, "I haven't said this before but I appreciate it".

Meanwhile, Lee Kwang-soo is currently the icon of betrayal in "Running Man".
