Lee Kyu-han posted on his Instagram on the 8th, saying, "I'm heavy-hearted to tell you a bad news".

"What happened in August 2020 has been bothering me for a year and three months", he said. "What I can say now is that I can swear on my life that I didn't commit assault or verbal abuse".

"Many reporters are calling me because I don't have an agency right now, but I'm unable to respond one by one due to the severe panic disorder caused by this. I'm so sorry about that", he said.

Finally, he said, "After being cleared of the charges as soon as possible and recovering my health, if anyone still wants to know, I'll tell you everything that has been going on".

On the same day, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that it sent Lee Kyu-han to the prosecution on the 2nd on charges of assaulting a man somewhere in Gangnam in August last year.

A police official said, "We cannot confirm the exact name of the charges or the details of the incident", adding, "The investigation took a long time because there were no CCTVs filming the situation at the time and the arguments of the two sides were completely mixed".

Earlier, Lee Kyu-han dropped out of the SBS drama "Again My Life" and JTBC drama "Green Mothers' Club" for 'personal reasons' according to the broadcasters.
