"Lee So-e has confirmed her appearance in MBC's new drama "Motel California". "Motel California" starring Lee So-e, is a remodeled romance drama that the female protagonist, who was born in a motel in the countryside and grew up in a motel, goes through when she reunites with her first love in her hometown, where she fled from 12 years ago and is based on Shim Yoon-seo's novel "Home, Bitter Home" in 2019.

Lee So-e plays Han Ah-reum, a library librarian who is a friend of Ji Kang-hee (Lee Se-young) in the play and dreams of becoming a poet. At the age of 20, Ah-reum is a person who hates her friend Kang-hee, who left his hometown without saying anything, but cares about her when she returns to Motel California. Lee So-e plans to add immersion to the play by realistically depicting her friendship with her childhood friend Lee Se-young, who she encounters again in her hometown.

Lee So-e made her face known to the public by appearing in the Netflix original series "The Glory" part 1 and 2 and the drama "The First Responders". In the Netflix original series "The Glory" part 1 and 2, she played a key role in turning the story around as Yoon So-hee, a victim of school violence, while in "The First Responders", she played the role of Kim Hyeon-seo, a missing person, to add tension to the drama. Recently, she appeared in the drama "The Matchmakers" as the youngest person out of the four merchants. Expectations are high on what new faces Lee So-e, who is gradually building her own filmography based on her stable acting skills, will show in "Motel California".

Meanwhile, MBC's new drama "Motel California", starring Lee So-e, is set to air in the first half of next year.
