Lee Young-ae: "I didn't say no to "Dae Jang Geum 2""

Actress Lee Young-ae claimed that the media report about her saying no to the new MBC drama "Dae Jang-geum 2" isn't true.

Sources from her side say, "She is taking her time thinking about the conditions about the drama. We are sorry it's taking a while, but we never said she wasn't going to do it. We have no idea how word got out like that".

Previously, a media had reported that Lee Young-ae had made up her mind not to star in the serial drama.

Meanwhile, "Dae Jang-geum 2" has been mentioned several times about being postponed, falling through and such as Lee Young-ae is yet to give a reply ever since it became official that MBC was going to produce it.

MBC is preparing to organize the drama in October after "Triangle - Drama" and "The Night Watchman". Season 2 would be about Seo Jang-geum's daughter and it's written by Kim Yeong-hyeon.

Meanwhile "Dae Jang-geum" is a 2003 drama about Dae Jang-geum who became the first female doctor to the king in the Joseon times. Lee Young-ae starred as Dae Jang-geum and gained worldwide fame.
