JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama "The Tale of Lady Ok" first released a teaser poster featuring Lim Ji-yeon as a slave named Gu-deok on October 22nd.
"The Tale of Lady Ok" which will premiere on November 30th, is a drama about the fierce survival fraud between Ok Tae-yeong (Lim Ji-yeon), a foreign outsider whose name, status, and husband are fake, and Cheon Seung-hwi (Choo Young-woo), an artist who risked his life to protect her. Lim Ji-yeon (Goo-deok, Ok Tae-yeong), who showed her unrivaled presence with overwhelming expression in every work, will show two completely different appearances with one character.
The first poster released showed an ironic image of a slave Goo-deok riding on a flower kiln in shabby colors. The colorful kiln decorations, which are contrary to Gu-deok's faded rags, leave a more intense impression by sensibly showing the fate of Goo-deok, who lives a life contrary to her innate status.
Above all, Goo-deok's appearance on the kiln is also quite unusual. She looks like a slave, dressed ugly, lifeless even on her face, but shows subtle dignity in her sitting posture and face.
In particular, her eyes, which are mixed with anxiety and confidence with the phrase "The fate of a slave on a flower kiln", show the complex psychology of Goo-deok, who has to live as Lady Ok Tae-yeong, stimulating curiosity even more.
