Lim Soo-hyang, ""Beauty and Mr. Romantic" Was a Challenge"

Actress Lim Soo-hyang, who is appearing in KBS2's weekend drama "Beauty and Mr. Romantic" revealed an alluring atmosphere through a fashion magazine pictorial.

In the pictorial released on the 24th, Lim Soo-hyang gave an alluring feeling that is different from the usually cheerful and active atmosphere in the images covering black and white and color.

"Beauty and Mr. Romantic" in which she stars, is a romance growth story that depicts the reversal of the life of a top actress who falls to the bottom overnight and a drama producer who gets her back up. Lim Soo-hyang and actor Ji Hyun-woo, who won the KBS Drama Awards for the drama "Beauty and Mr. Romantic" in 2021, are the lead stars.

Lim Soo-hyang said, "I feel like I'm filming about three mini-series dramas. So, I had a personal crisis in the middle". She said, "However, it is attractive because there are many things I gain as an actor if I work with such a drama. There comes a moment when I can be perfectly assimilated into the character I play, and I feel happy because the teachers and actors I film with feel like real family, and I learn a lot".

"I think this is a drama that made me take on a bigger and a new challenge", she said. "Everyone thought I was wearing a wig, but I got a perm myself. It is the first time that I have done a work in front of a camera with almost no makeup on".

Lim Soo-hyang appeared in "New Gisaeng Story", "IRIS 2", and "My ID is Gangnam Beauty". Looking back, she said, "I feel a little proud. I tend to look back on old works, and it's fun to watch my face, acting, and facial expressions at that time vary depending on the period".

She also thanked her fans, saying, "I'm gaining a lot of strength from Ji-yeong because my fans love her so much. I want to thank them".
